BNI is a platform for entrepreneurs who want to grow their horizons, expand their network of contacts and often discover new sales opportunities. A great example of the latter is Eglė Jurgaitė, Vice President for Growth at BNI Mercury Export, representing Kaizen Projects. Kaizen Projects has been successfully operating in the field of interior, custom and commercial furniture manufacturing for more than a decade.

At a BNI event, where more than 40 chapters met, Eglė discovered new sales channels and forged a successful partnership – what you might call a true success story.

BNI event that opened the door to a €60,000 deal

One of the highlights of Eglė’s success story was the BNI Real Estate and Construction Power Team) event held at Kaizen Projects’ premises. Eglė remembers: “Not only did we have the opportunity to give a detailed presentation of our business to more than 40 members from all over Lithuania, but we also received a recommendation from another chapter member”. This recommendation eventually turned into an order that brought the company €60 000 in additional revenue. It is also encouraging that the new client has the potential to become a long-term partner with the possibility of repeated orders.

The entrepreneur stresses that the BNI recommendation was particularly important – without being part of the community, it would have been much more difficult to reach key decision-makers directly. Such a contact would have required much more time and effort without BNI.
