Renata Urbonė, an expert in business management system implementation, has been working nearly 30 years to help organizations implement digital solutions internationally. Recently, she renewed her membership in the BNI Mercury chapter for not one, but two years, securing her nine-year partnership with this business networking chapter. Renata has actively contributed to the growth of BNI Mercury, so this step is a natural continuation of her long-standing commitment to the community. It’s always a joy to see members choose the long road with us – the longer they stay, the deeper the relationships, the greater the trust, and the more meaningful the impact we create together.
Esperonus – from friendship and vision to a family business
The company Esperonus began its journey in 2003, founded by two friends – Kęstutis and Robertas. At first, they focused on developing online information systems, but over time, their visions diverged. Robertas moved toward e-commerce, while Kęstutis took the lead of the company. When Renata joined the team, the business evolved into a family-run enterprise. That’s when e-Zonus was born – a business management system that became the company’s core product.
This system helps businesses manage all their processes in an integrated way – from supply and inventory to production and quality control. It successfully integrates with accounting software, e-commerce platforms, electronic signature solutions, and other tools needed to ensure smooth operations.
7 years with BNI Mercury – building success through a strong community
Renata joined BNI Mercury at the very beginning – when the first Global Trade chapter in the world was being formed. Even before the pandemic, this chapter opened the doors to international and online networking.
“My first BNI breakfast meeting was nothing like I expected,” Renata recalls. She assumed the structure was already in place, but soon realized that the success of the chapter depended entirely on its members’ involvement.
“I had to step in – not only to represent our family business Esperonus, but also to contribute to the growth and success of the world’s first Global Trade chapter.” That experience encouraged her to actively participate and support the chapter’s development from day one.
Why BNI Mercury? Three Key Reasons
Renata is confident in her continued membership and clearly identifies the value she sees in BNI Mercury:
- Innovation – Mercury was the first chapter to open doors to global networking.
- People – Strong members attract other strong members, creating a solid culture of collaboration.
- Commitment – Seven years of investment into the community have brought not only business growth but also personal development.
Value that goes beyond numbers
“I’m not a fan of bragging with numbers. They’re reflected in our financial reports. What matters most to us is the feedback we get from clients,” says Renata.
For her, the greatest success is hearing from a business owner whose company has grown and become more structured thanks to their implemented systems – proving that well-managed data becomes valuable intellectual capital.
A promise for the two years ahead – share and help others grow
As the chapter’s Education Coordinator, Renata makes a clear promise:
“I will remain an engaged member. We’ll continue implementing CRM, supply chain, warehouse, production, and quality management systems. I’ll provide advice and share my knowledge and experience so that each member and their business can grow and improve.”
A word of inspiration
“Have dreams, set goals, and take the first step. The path reveals itself to the one who walks it – and you never know where it will lead. For me, that first step was joining BNI Mercury. It opened up amazing opportunities, not just in business, but in personal growth and meaningful connections,” Renata shares with encouragement.
